Data center cooling systems combine large volumes, high flushing-flow requirements, phased construction and commissioning schedules with no float. Cleanhydronics plans the flush during preconstruction, executes with temporary pumping and filtration sized to the system, and closes out with the records the commissioning team expects. Where the specification calls for a glycol or heat-transfer fluid charge, the flush and the fill are planned as one scope.

Cleanhydronics supplies the specialized planning, temporary pumps, filtration and field technicians — so your pipefitters and supervisors stay focused on installation, tie-ins, punch-list work and other schedule-critical responsibilities. The mechanical contractor remains in control of the project and provides agreed system access and coordination.
During pre-construction, we review the available scope, drawings, specifications and take-off information to estimate water volume, chemical quantities, temporary equipment and wastewater. Earlier definition produces a more defensible budget and fewer field surprises.
An engineered sequence, sufficient flushing velocity, controlled filtration, chemical cleaning, water treatment executed to the specialist provider's plan and measured verification reduce the chance that debris, fouled strainers or poor water quality delay startup and commissioning.
We document the approved procedure, field conditions, measured results, water testing and completion status — so you have organized evidence for the commissioning agent, engineer and owner.
Flow velocity determines the plan
A flush only works if the water moves fast enough to carry debris out — too slow, and solids simply settle in low spots, dead legs, and branch lines. That required speed changes with every pipe diameter in the system.
Cleanhydronics reviews pipe sizes and system configuration, calculates the flow required to reach turbulent scouring velocity in each section, selects the temporary pumping and filtration to deliver it, and establishes the flushing sequence. During the flush, we read flow speeds live at multiple points across different pipe sizes simultaneously — measured velocity, recorded branch by branch, is the evidence that goes in your closeout record.
Flow targets, chemistry and acceptance criteria follow the project specifications, system design, metallurgy, equipment limitations and the water-treatment specialist's approved plan — not a one-size-fits-all number.

Pre-Construction Scope Development
Drawing and specification review, system quantity assumptions, budget inputs, equipment planning, water/chemical/waste estimates and schedule coordination.
Hydronic Flushing & Filtration
Temporary pumping, branch-by-branch flushing, filtration, strainer management, debris removal and measured field verification.
Chemical Cleaning
Project-specific chemical cleaning to remove oils, flux, corrosion products, scale or other deposits — including circulation, rinsing and neutralization, and waste planning as required.
Water Treatment Services
A coordinated field-execution service under the selected water-treatment specialist’s approved plan: the specialist selects and supplies the chemistry; Cleanhydronics provides the on-site dosing, circulation, field execution and documentation.
Glycol & Heat-Transfer Fluid Filling
For systems specified to run on glycol or a manufacturer-specified heat-transfer fluid, including DOWTHERM and THERMINOL products: receiving, staging, transfer, charging, circulation, concentration verification, sampling support and turnover records, executed as one sequence with the flush.
Potable-Water Disinfection
Disinfection, sampling coordination and documentation where included in the mechanical scope.
Testing & Closeout Documentation
Pressure testing support, measured flow data, water-test information, daily records, completion reports and other agreed turnover documents.

During prequalification, we can provide relevant experience, redacted work samples and references where authorized.
