Our services and chemicals are exactly what is needed for pre-commissioning a new system or renovating an old one.

Service 1

Cleaning

Industrial Pipe Cleaning describes the general processes/methods of cleaning, which must be used depending on the facilities available, the size and shape of an item, degree of contamination, and accessibility.

Cleanhydronics works with several cleaning agents, processes, and methods.

Flush

Flush out solid or liquid contaminants.

Remove

Remove deposits and biofilm.

Mechanical Cleaning

This process consists of loosening contaminants from the surface or conveying them out of the system by the application of physical means, e.g. brushing, scraping, polishing, blasting, blowing, vacuuming, grinding/sanding, etc.

Solvent Cleaning (or Degreasing) is suitable for use with all metals, providing the solvent is suitably inhibited.

Chemical Cleaning

Chemical cleaning is a process involving acid or alkaline solutions and it is used to remove heavy surface adherents such as, rust, scale, oxide films, brazing fluxes, small amounts of paint, grease, oil film and drawing compounds.

Detergent Cleaning

Detergents may be supplied in powder, crystal, or concentrated liquid form. They need to be prepared for use by mixing with hot water in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommended specifications to form aqueous solutions.

The manufacturer’s specification and procedure for the application of the cleaning agent and necessary safety precautions shall be strictly adhered to.

Service 2

Sanitization

Sanitization works to reduce contaminants in your system that may negatively impact performance. This process does not remove all possible bacteria or microorganisms, but it is an effective way for reducing most.

Service 3

Disinfection

Disinfection of potable water piping systems—this type of service is essential if water hygiene is to be maintained and to minimize the risk of Legionnaires.

Providing cleaning and disinfection is the ideal combination by using specialized disinfectants including chlorine, hydrogen peroxide, and others.

Clean + Sanitize

Flush contaminants, remove biofilm, and reduce organisms.

Water Hygiene

Maintain potable water hygiene and decrease deadly bacteria growth.

Disinfection is an important step in ensuring that potable (drinking) water is safe. Potable water pipe systems are required to meet the regulatory standards in each state by disinfecting public water to the point of supply. They have to kill or inactivate disease-causing organisms in the water supply.

There are two principals of disinfection: primary disinfection achieves the desired level of microorganism kill or inactivation, while secondary disinfection provides enhanced protection by preventing the regrowth of microorganisms harmful to human health.

Cleanhydronics focuses on the first disinfection and system owner is responsible from there on.

When you partner with Cleanhydronics, we will work with you and our chemical supplier partners to guide you to the most effective solution for your building/system requirements.

When are

Pipe cleaning services required?
